FLCC Social Weekend Rides normally take place Saturday mornings. They are largely targeted to intermediate riders with a pace of 11-13 mph. They’re intended to be social rides providing exercise but also an opportunity to meet other local riders and learn new routes. Dirty Hector Gravel Race

This race is a reincarnation of the NatiFo Forty race The new race course winds its way through, around, up, down, and across the best trails, cow fields, creeks, mud, forests, dirt, and gravel roads that Hector and the Finger Lakes National Forest have to offer. Gravel Ride

FLCC gravel rides focus on fun and adventure, exploring gravel roads and trails around Ithaca. A typical ride splits into two groups, one with a relaxed pace and one with a more moderate pace. Rides are no-drop and start at 6pm, weather-permitting. A typical ride is a loop of about 20 miles with about 2,000 feet of climbing. Early-season rides build up to this, while mid-season rides may be longer when the late sunset allows. Keuka Lake Gravel Classic

Presented by Steuben Brewing Company, the Keuka Lake Gravel Classic will host hundreds of riders from all over the country as they traverse the challenging and scenic dirt roads of the Finger Lakes beer and wine country. The KLGC offers three course distances (about 18, 30 and 50 miles)  that will feature vistas and vineyards, soul-crushing climbs and gnarly descents. The routes offer fast hard racing for traditional elite and masters racers and exciting challenges for grand fondo riders and new cyclists alike. Brevet: Around the Finger Lakes 400k

This ride is a clockwise loop around the Finger Lakes of NY, starting in and ending near scenic Ithaca, NY, and bringing the rider within "wheel-dipping distance" to all 11 lakes. The first hilly leg takes you from Ithaca on Cayuga Lake to Watkins Glen and Hammondsport at the south ends of Seneca and Keuka Lakes. The first 50 miles (Ithaca to Hammondsport) are hilly, so don't get discouraged!
