FLCC Saturday Social Ride

FLCC is organizing social weekend rides from May—September in 2025 that are largely targeted to intermediate riders with a pace of 12—13 mph. They’re intended to be moderately-paced rides providing exercise, but also an opportunity to meet other local riders and learn new routes. Rides will be 25—35 miles in length and get longer throughout the season. Riders should bring water and helmets, have bikes in good mechanical condition, and be comfortable with group rides on local roads. FLCC Women’s Road Ride

East Hill Plaza 327 Pine Tree Road, Ithaca, NY

The Women’s Road Ride meets every Wednesday at 6pm, May 14 — September 17. Most rides leave from the East Hill Plaza parking lot on Pine Tree Rd, although sometimes we start from alternate locations in Brooktondale or Lansing. The group typically splits into at least 3 groups (an A, B, and C group). Each group does a different route and rides at different speeds. We ride different routes each week. For more information about the rides, visit the Women’s Ride Info Page. Routes, weather cancellations, and more are communicated on the WRR Google Group.

FLCC gravel rides focus on fun and adventure, exploring gravel roads and trails around Ithaca. A typical ride splits into two groups, one with a relaxed pace and one with a more moderate pace. Rides are no-drop and start at 6pm, weather-permitting. A typical ride is a loop of about 20 miles with about 2,000 feet of climbing. Early-season rides build up to this, while mid-season rides may be longer when the late sunset allows. Tour de Keuka

Tour de Keuka is an annual charity bike ride around Keuka Lake in the beautiful Finger Lakes of New York State. The 2025 event will benefit United Way of the Southern Tier. Offering 3 different in-person courses and a virtual option, there’s a route for nearly every skill level. The 2024 routes included the 100-Mile Jenny Rhoads Century Ride, a 60-Mile Ride, and the 45-Mile John "Jake" Geniviva Ride. All routes start from Hammondsport, NY.
