The Tour de Shunk offers challenging and scenic routes on mostly traffic-free roads in Sullivan and Bradford counties in northeast PA, with a wonderful spaghetti dinner included afterward. It has grown over its 25 years to include now three gravel routes, up to 74 miles long – and paved routes of ~25, 50, 75 and 100+ miles. There’s also a Youth / Intro to Gravel ride of about 10 miles on an old railroad grade in PA State Game Lands. The two longer gravel routes include SGL and Loyalsock State Forest roads. Seven routes to choose from total, something for everyone. All routes start from from Rocky’s Bike Shop, Monroeton, PA 18832.
