DESCRIPTION:It’s back for a second year! \nSpecial Announcement — Let’s share our passion for cycling with each other\, in the early season\, during this special event. This is an opportunity to meet and network with like-minded cyclists from across our region. \nBikes\, Trails\, and Tales: FLCC Early-Season Get-Together \nWhat: Bike Trips\, Bike Tours\, and Bikepacking Adventures. An afternoon of short slideshows presented by FLCC members\, other bike club members\, independent cyclists\, and supporters. Free and open to the public.  \nWhere: Cinemapolis Theater\, 120 East Green St\, in downtown Ithaca. \nWhen: Sunday\, April 19\, 2026\, from 3:00-5:00 PM. \nProgram: A series of 10 presentations of 10 minutes each\, with 10 slides narrated by a cyclist who participated in an exciting bike trip\, bike tour\, or bikepacking adventure in the Finger Lakes Region or anywhere in the USA or the world! Would *you* like to be one of the presenters? (See Callout for Presenters\, below). \nFood: Snacks will be available for purchase from the theater concession stand. \nRSVP: Appreciated\, but not required. For our planning purposes please email info@bikethefingerlakes.org with the number of people who are likely to attend.  \nCallout for Presenters: Did you participate in an exciting multiday bike trip\, bike tour\, or bikepacking adventure sometime in the past few years?  Do you have 10 favorite photos and stories that you’d like to present on April 19? If so\, send an email to Steve sp35@cornell.edu for further details.
