SUMMARY:Dansville Dangler Gravel/Dirt Time Trial
DESCRIPTION:The Dansville Dangler is the first gravel endurance event of the SSIC Gravel Series in Steuben County. Think of it as an early spring kick in the ass! The course consists of primarily gravel/dirt/seasonal roads with paved connectors. Youll be on a 16 mile Dirt Time Trial! The course will be open and traffic will be on the roads\, so please obey all traffic signs and rules of the road. There are some steep downhills and some challenging uphills. Be prepared to come to a complete stop for any traffic. You will be timed over a 16 mile course with1600′. \nGravel bikes recommended. Mountain bikes are capable. SUMMARY:FLCC Group Gravel Ride
DESCRIPTION:FLCC gravel rides focus on fun and adventure\, exploring gravel roads and trails around Ithaca. A typical ride splits into two groups\, one with a relaxed pace and one with a more moderate pace. Rides are no-drop and start at 6pm\, weather-permitting. A typical ride is a loop of about 20 miles with about 2\,000 feet of climbing. Early-season rides build up to this\, while mid-season rides may be longer when the late sunset allows. Start location varies by week and will be announced\, along with other details\, earlier in the week of the ride on the flcc-gravel@googlegroups.com group.
