Rides will be 25—35 miles in length and get longer throughout the season. Riders should bring water and helmets\, have bikes in good mechanical condition\, and be comfortable with group rides on local roads. \nRides will be no-drop\, regrouping at the tops of major hills and intersections when the group is spread out. Rides will often include a social stop which will be mentioned in the weekly ride announcement. \nThe rides will generally be scheduled for Saturday mornings\, but rain dates may be Sunday mornings. We may also organize occasional “pop-up rides” on Sundays. \nThe details on specific rides\, routes\, and meeting locations will be announced each week through the FLCC Google Group. SUMMARY:Tour de Keuka
DESCRIPTION:Tour de Keuka is an annual charity bike ride around Keuka Lake in the beautiful Finger Lakes of New York State. The 2025 event will benefit United Way of the Southern Tier. \nOffering 3 different in-person courses and a virtual option\, there’s a route for nearly every skill level. The 2024 routes included the 100-Mile Jenny Rhoads Century Ride\, a 60-Mile Ride\, and the 45-Mile John “Jake” Geniviva Ride.  All routes start from Hammondsport\, NY. \nEvery rider receives a Tour de Keuka T-shirt and finisher gift.  All participants must fundraise $150 in addition to paying the registration fee. Riders who raise $350 or more will receive a Tour de Keuka jersey!
