SUMMARY:Dansville Dangler Gravel/Dirt Time Trial
DESCRIPTION:The Dansville Dangler is the first gravel endurance event of the SSIC Gravel Series in Steuben County. Think of it as an early spring kick in the ass! The course consists of primarily gravel/dirt/seasonal roads with paved connectors. Youll be on a 16 mile Dirt Time Trial! The course will be open and traffic will be on the roads\, so please obey all traffic signs and rules of the road. There are some steep downhills and some challenging uphills. Be prepared to come to a complete stop for any traffic. You will be timed over a 16 mile course with1600′. \nGravel bikes recommended. Mountain bikes are capable. This is an opportunity to meet and network with like-minded cyclists from across our region. \nBikes\, Trails\, and Tales: FLCC Early-Season Get-Together \nWhat: Bike Trips\, Bike Tours\, and Bikepacking Adventures. An afternoon of short slideshows presented by FLCC members\, other bike club members\, independent cyclists\, and supporters. Free and open to the public.  \nWhere: Cinemapolis Theater\, 120 East Green St\, in downtown Ithaca. \nWhen: Sunday\, April 19\, 2026\, from 3:00-5:00 PM. \nProgram: A series of 10 presentations of 10 minutes each\, with 10 slides narrated by a cyclist who participated in an exciting bike trip\, bike tour\, or bikepacking adventure in the Finger Lakes Region or anywhere in the USA or the world! SUMMARY:Finger Lakes Freshet
DESCRIPTION:The Finger Lakes Freshet returns for a second year! \nThis is a casual\, unofficial\, unsanctioned\, and unsupported gravel bikepacking ride starting and ending in Stewart Park\, Ithaca\, NY\, homeland of the Gayogohó:no people. Routes will follow gravel roads as much as possible. This will be a self-supported ride following the ethics of other bikepacking events like The Adirondack Trail Ride\, Vermont Super 8\, Catskill Bikepacking Route\, or the Tour Divide – meaning it’s an unmarked route\, with no sag wagon\, no planned feed stations\, etc\, but you can utilize any publicly available services. One difference from other events is that we are encouraging (but not requiring) riders to go slow and ride together in groups. Riders of all three route options may elect to camp together the first night (about halfway through the short route or about 60-70 miles in for the other routes) in a private group campsite. \n58\, 158\, and 500 mile route options

DESCRIPTION:Presented by Steuben Brewing Company\, the Keuka Lake Gravel Classic will host hundreds of riders from all over the country as they traverse the challenging and scenic dirt roads of the Finger Lakes beer and wine country. \nThe KLGC offers three course distances (18\, 30\, and 55 miles) that will feature vistas and vineyards\, soul-crushing climbs and gnarly descents. The routes offer fast hard racing for traditional elite and masters racers and exciting challenges for granfondo riders and new cyclists alike. \nFollowing the races\, all riders are invited to celebrate at our after party featuring prizes\, music\, food\, and the region’s finest craft beverages at Steuben Brewing Company.

There is a bit of climbing so bring your legs. We want to get you out there for a great time on what we believe to be a great course! The course will be open and traffic will be on the roads\, so please obey all traffic signs and rules of the road. There are some steep downhills and some challenging uphills. Be prepared to come to a complete stop for any traffic. You will be timed over 5 segments within the 40 mile course and 4200’+. These segments will consist of climbs\, descents and longer endurance piece. YOU WILL NOT BE TIMED FOR OVERALL COURSE. \nGravel bikes recommended. Mountain bikes are capable. NO ROAD BIKES.

SUMMARY:Tour de Shunk - Road and Gravel
DESCRIPTION:The Tour de Shunk offers challenging and scenic routes on mostly traffic-free roads in Sullivan and Bradford counties in northeast PA\, with a wonderful spaghetti dinner included afterward.  It has grown over its 27 years to include now three gravel routes\, up to 74 miles long – and paved routes of ~25\, 50\, 75 and 100+ miles. There’s also a Youth / Intro to Gravel ride of about 10 miles on an old railroad grade in PA State Game Lands.   The two longer gravel routes include SGL and Loyalsock State Forest roads.   Seven routes to choose from total\, something for everyone.  All routes start from from Rocky’s Bike Shop\, Monroeton\, PA 18832.  T-shirt included\, and rider support\, food and drink provided along the way.   All proceeds support Big Brothers Big Sisters.  FLCC is not affiliated with this event.
