SUMMARY:SSIC Cameron Crusher Gravel Race
DESCRIPTION:The Cameron Crusher is the final gravel endurance event of the SSIC Gravel Series in Steuben County. The course consists of primarily gravel/dirt/seasonal roads with paved connectors. There is A LOT of climbing so bring your legs. We want to get you out there for a great time on what we believe to be a great course! The course will be open and traffic will be on the roads\, so please obey all traffic signs and rules of the road. There are some steep downhills and some challenging uphills. Be prepared to come to a complete stop for any traffic. You will be timed over 5 segments within the 50+ mile course. These segments will consist of 2 climbs\, 2 descents and 1 longer endurance piece. YOU WILL NOT BE TIMED FOR OVERALL COURSE. \nPlease reach out with any questions you may have. DESCRIPTION:FLCC is organizing social weekend rides from May—September in 2025 that are largely targeted to intermediate riders with a pace of 12—13 mph. They’re intended to be moderately-paced rides providing exercise\, but also an opportunity to meet other local riders and learn new routes. Rides will be 25—35 miles in length and get longer throughout the season. Riders should bring water and helmets\, have bikes in good mechanical condition\, and be comfortable with group rides on local roads. \nRides will be no-drop\, regrouping at the tops of major hills and intersections when the group is spread out. Rides will often include a social stop which will be mentioned in the weekly ride announcement. \nThe rides will generally be scheduled for Saturday mornings\, but rain dates may be Sunday mornings. We may also organize occasional “pop-up rides” on Sundays. \nThe details on specific rides\, routes\, and meeting locations will be announced each week through the FLCC Google Group. SUMMARY:Tour de Shunk - Road and Gravel
DESCRIPTION:The Tour de Shunk offers challenging and scenic routes on mostly traffic-free roads in Sullivan and Bradford counties in northeast PA\, with a wonderful spaghetti dinner included afterward.  It has grown over its 26 years to include now three gravel routes\, up to 74 miles long – and paved routes of ~25\, 50\, 75 and 100+ miles. There’s also a Youth / Intro to Gravel ride of about 10 miles on an old railroad grade in PA State Game Lands.   The two longer gravel routes include SGL and Loyalsock State Forest roads.   Seven routes to choose from total\, something for everyone.  All routes start from from Rocky’s Bike Shop\, Monroeton\, PA 18832.  T-shirt included\, and rider support\, food and drink provided along the way.   All proceeds support Big Brothers Big Sisters.  FLCC is not affiliated with this event. DESCRIPTION:FLCC is organizing social weekend rides from May—September in 2025 that are largely targeted to intermediate riders with a pace of 12—13 mph. They’re intended to be moderately-paced rides providing exercise\, but also an opportunity to meet other local riders and learn new routes. Rides will be 25—35 miles in length and get longer throughout the season. Riders should bring water and helmets\, have bikes in good mechanical condition\, and be comfortable with group rides on local roads. \nRides will be no-drop\, regrouping at the tops of major hills and intersections when the group is spread out. Rides will often include a social stop which will be mentioned in the weekly ride announcement. \nThe rides will generally be scheduled for Saturday mornings\, but rain dates may be Sunday mornings. We may also organize occasional “pop-up rides” on Sundays. \nThe details on specific rides\, routes\, and meeting locations will be announced each week through the FLCC Google Group.
