SUMMARY:FLCC Women’s Road Ride
DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Road Ride meets every Wednesday at 6pm\, May—September. Most rides leave from the East Hill Plaza parking lot on Pine Tree Rd\, although sometimes we start from alternate locations in Brooktondale or Lansing. \nThe group typically splits into at least 3 groups (an A\, B\, and C group). Each group does a different route and rides at different speeds. SUMMARY:FLCC Saturday Social Ride
DESCRIPTION:FLCC organizes social weekend road rides from May–September that are largely targeted to intermediate riders with a pace of 12—13 mph. They’re intended to be moderately-paced rides providing exercise\, but also an opportunity to meet other local riders and learn new routes. Rides will be 25—35 miles in length and get longer throughout the season. Riders should bring water and a helmet\, have bikes in good mechanical condition\, and be comfortable with group rides on local roads. \nRides will be no-drop\, regrouping at the tops of major hills and intersections when the group is spread out. Rides will often include a social stop which will be mentioned in the weekly ride announcement. \nThe rides will generally be scheduled for Saturday mornings\, but rain dates may be Sunday mornings. We may also organize occasional “pop-up rides” on Sundays. \nThe details on specific rides\, routes\, and meeting locations will be announced each week through the FLCC Google Group.
